West Virginia State University to Host Annual Career and Employment Expo April 16

INSTITUTE, W.Va. – West Virginia State University (WVSU) will host its annual Career and Employment Expo on Tuesday, April 16, in the James C. Wilson Student Union.

The expo is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free and open to all job seekers including WVSU students, alumni, and the general public. The event had originally been scheduled for April 4 but had to be rescheduled due to a loss of power on campus as a result of last week’s severe storms.

More than 50 organizations representing a broad spectrum of career fields including government, finance, human services, law enforcement, communications, technology, sales/marketing, retail/merchandising, operations and health care are expected to participate. Recruiters are seeking applications for full-time, part-time, and internship positions.

In addition, several colleges, including WVSU, are also participating with information about graduate programs.
