Institutional Foundation Scholarships

Scholarships available through the West Virginia State University Foundation vary in amount and eligibility requirements. Individual scholarship opportunity descriptions and eligibility requirements can be viewed in the Scholarship Portal.

West Virginia State University Foundation Scholarship applicants must first meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • FAFSA must be completed and submitted
  • financial aid must be packaged
  • cannot be registered as an only-online student
  • must be a full-time student (i.e., must take at least 12 credit hours each semester)

Applying for West Virginia State University Foundation Scholarships is easy. Applicants need only go to the scholarship portal and log in with the first portion of their West Virginia State University email address (i.e., everything prior to @wvstateu.edu) and password. There is only one application to fill out. A completed application will be matched with pertinent scholarship opportunities.
