The Drain-Jordan Library houses nearly 150,000 book volumes, e-books, e-journals, government documents and a wealth of non-print and archival resources. The main floor is home to over 30 computers for public use. We also have a group study room available for bookings and individual study pods on our second floor. Friendly, highly-trained staff are available to help you with all your information needs.

The Drain-Jordan Library supports the educational mission of West Virginia State University by advocating the University’s intellectual inquiries and scholarship, and by preserving the history of the institution and the community. As the essential research hub of the University, the library promotes teaching, discovery, and learning by acquiring, maintaining, and disseminating information.
