INSTITUTE, W.Va. -West Virginia State University (WVSU) Extension Service will host a workshop on fruit tree pruning and backyard orchard management Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 3:30 p.m. at Hometown Elementary School in Putnam County. The event is free to attend.
“This workshop will focus on the pruning of fruit trees and the traditional methods of how to properly care for and maintain them,” said WVSU Extension Agent Brad Cochran.
Designed for all experience levels, the workshop will focus on all aspects of fruit tree care and upkeep. Instruction will be followed by a hands-on demonstration of proper pruning.
