The University’s “Be One of Us” commercial was awarded a bronze Telly in the local television and local cable, schools/colleges/universities category. “In every video production, University Relations and Operations works diligently to showcase our outstanding students and world-class faculty as the State experience is truly one-of-a-kind,” Kimberly Osborne, Vice President for University Relations and Operations, said. “I am grateful Telly has recognized the Barnes Agency’s fine quality production, which powerfully displayed the unique and personal attention State provides our students. On behalf of the University Relations and Operations team, I want to thank the many students, faculty and staff who worked, alongside our production partners, to share the State story in such a moving example of what it means to be a member of the State family.” The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators and corporate video departments in the world. Less than 10 percent of entries are chosen as Winners of the Silver Telly, the highest honor. Approximately 25 percent of entries are chosen as Winners of the Bronze Telly.
