The West Virginia Legislature has approved a $50 million appropriation for the construction of a new state-of-the-art agricultural laboratory to be located at West Virginia State University (WVSU).

INSTITUTE, W.Va. — West Virginia State University (WVSU) has unveiled a new tuition assistance program that will make the cost of obtaining a bachelor’s degree free for West Virginia residents who meet certain requirements.

West Virginia State University offices will be closed on Friday, May 24. Campus offices will also be closed on Monday, May 27, for the Memorial Day Holiday. The university will resume normal operations on Tuesday, May 28.

West Virginia State University (WVSU) will host its annual Career and Employment Expo on Tuesday, April 16, in the James C. Wilson Student Union. The expo is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free and open to all job seekers including WVSU students, alumni, and the general public.
