WVSU Extension Service has launched a new program to help prevent Type 2 diabetes. The PreventT2 program, part of the CDC’s diabetes prevention efforts, is a free series of sessions teaching the behavior change skills needed to reduce Type 2 diabetes risk factors.

State University Board of Visitors have been announced. The board is a volunteer organization

INSTITUTE, W.Va. — Eric L. Jackson has been appointed interim chief of staff for West Virginia State University effective immediately.

There will be COVID-19 vaccination and testing clinics every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2
p.m. in the James C. Wilson University Union. All three vaccinations (Pfizer, Moderna, and
Johnson & Johnson) will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. No
appointments or registration are necessary. The vaccination clinics are open to all students,
faculty, and staff as well as the surrounding community.
