West Virginia State University (WVSU) Extension Service will host a free hybrid
workshop
on proper tree pruning techniques Friday, November 13, and Saturday, November 14. A virtual
portion, held via Zoom, will cover basic biology concepts relating to pruning cuts and
methods,
to be followed by an outdoor, onsite demonstration of proper pruning practices.

West Virginia State University (WVSU) Extension Service has partnered with West Virginia Health Right to promote the importance of flu vaccinations this flu season. A free flu vaccine clinic will be held Friday, November 13, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the William J. Raglin Community Center in Dunbar.
West Virginia State University (WVSU) Extension Service’s monthly Ag Talk Tuesday series continues Tuesday, November 10, at 6 p.m. EST with a discussion about fall and winter pasture management. WVSU Extension Service personnel will share information and answer questions with participants live via Zoom.

Community & Technical College (CTC) to create a public art mural in Montgomery, West
Virginia. Community members are invited to contribute to the painting of the Montgomery
History
Mural, which depicts images celebrating the town’s rich history.
