begin with a Regional Independent Publishing Panel at the WVSU Economic Development Center
(EDC)

Experience (SURE) program symposium Thursday, July 31, at 9 a.m. in Hamblin Hall on campus.

of
the American Chemical Society (ACS) has been awarded a grant to help educate elementary
schools
in the Kanawha Valley about the importance of safe drinking water.

INSTITUTE, W.Va. – West Virginia State University (WVSU) will conduct an
emergency drill on Friday, July 25. This drill is a training exercise for local and state
first
responders, the University’s public safety officers, students, faculty and staff,
and
simulates an active shooter on the school’s Institute campus.

of
Political Science C. Damien Arthur explores the issue of whether a U.S. president has a direct
impact over the nation’s economy in his upcoming book “Economic Actors,
Economic Behaviors and Presidential Leadership: The Constrained Effects of
Rhetoric.”
