West Virginia State University (WVSU) will host a pumpkin drop with local children
Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 3 p.m. at the Roosevelt Neighborhood Center located on
Charleston’s East End. Nearly 50 kids from the Roosevelt and Pro-Kids after-school
programs will drop pumpkins from the third floor of the building.

Aspiring and seasoned filmmakers can learn the techniques of production with “Production 101” at the West Virginia State University (WVSU) Economic Development Center (EDC) Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The workshop is part of the EDC’s ongoing Creators Program series targeting the creative economy.
