Series of Listening Sessions to Take Place on Campus on September 7

INSTITUTE, W.Va. – The West Virginia State University (WVSU) community is invited to share their thoughts for the university’s future on Wednesday, September 7, as part of the launch of a comprehensive strategic planning process.

WVSU’s recently announced strategic plan, called Future State, will determine the strategy and goals for the future of WVSU over the course of the next several years. On Wednesday, September 7, a series of listening sessions will take place on campus where students, faculty, staff, alumni, university retirees, visitors, and area business leaders are invited to participate to share their thoughts.

Dr. Kaye Monk-Morgan will be on hand that day leading the listening sessions to gather information to assist with development of the university’s new strategic plan. She is the principal of MNP Enterprises, LLC, which is a consulting and professional development service. MNP supports the strategic planning, professional development, and public speaking needs of corporations, non-profit organizations, and higher education institutions across the United States.

Monk-Morgan will hold five different listening sessions throughout the day.
