COVID-19 Employee Information

Many WVSU employees have questions and concerns related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is affecting and could further affect campus operations and their work. All institution-wide decisions are being made with the health and safety of our community at the forefront, and with the best-available guidance from national, state and local public health authorities.

Additional information and updates are available on WVSU's coronavirus website.

In accordance with Governor Jim Justice's order, the WVSU Department of Human Resources team will be working remotely from home, effective immediately. We are fully operational but just in a remote status. We are unable to answer phone calls to our office directly; however, if you need assistance, you have several options:

  • You may call the office at (304) 766-3156, and leave a message. A staff member will return your call within 1-3 business days.
  • You may send us an e-mail at hr@wvstateu.edu. We are monitoring that e-mail and will respond as soon as we can.
  • Follow HR on Facebook or LinkedIn . You can private message us, and a staff member will respond.
  • Check our website at www.wvstateu.edu. We are updating information there as quickly as we can.
