The DSST tests allow you to receive college credit by taking a standardized test in a specific subject area. These tests are given each month at West Virginia State University. Other times are available by appointment by calling 304-766-3250. You may register on-line or stop by the Office of Career Services and Cooperative Education at 216 Wallace Hall to pick up a registration form.

The cost of each test is $80.00 plus an administration fee of $15.00 (please note price increase.) These fees will be collected on the test day. Do not include fees with your registration form. Test scores will be mailed by DANTES in seven to ten business days. For more information about tests visit DSST Website.

                * In addition to a minimum score of 47 on the multiple choice test, an examinee must also receive a passing grade on the required speech section. A special test date/time will be scheduled for this test on an individual basis.
