WVSU | West Virginia State University

Applying to WVSU

For many students applying to college may seem like a daunting task, and we understand that many parents may also feel the same way.

At West Virginia State University, we are here to help both your son or daughter, and you through every step of the process.

From the time your high school junior or senior begins to think about continuing their education in college, we can help.

The best way to start is to come and visit our campus in Institute,  and see just what life in the WVSU community is like.

You’ll attend an information session to learn about applying to WVSU, living on campus, financial aid, scholarships and more. And, you’ll get to take a general walking tour of our campus, led by a student tour guide.

Information sessions are offered at 11 a.m. each weekday and on  select Saturdays. Tours follow group information sessions.

To register, please contact Admissions by telephone at (304) 204-4345 or by email at admissions@wvstateu.edu.

After your campus visit, we know you may still have questions, and we are here to help. There is a host of information available on this website about tuition, financial aid, degree programs and much more that we invite you to explore. If you can’t find the answers you are looking for, contact us. We are here to help.
