WVSU | West Virginia State University

Welcome to Parent and Family Programs!

We are pleased that you and your family have become part of the WVSU family. We hope that our spirit, traditions and our love for one another surround you and your student as you get familiar with our campus. WVSU understands that this is an important time for your entire family as your child transitions into a university setting.

The Office of Parent and Family Programs seeks to provide parents and families opportunities to play an integral role in their students academic success. "State" is a mutually supportive community, where students, parents, faculty and staff work  to lift each other up academically, spiritually, socially and creatively to ensure experienced and prepared individuals upon graduation. We work with various WVSU departments to provide parents and families with the most up to date and helpful information.
