WVSU | West Virginia State University

West Virginia State University Cares Day brings together Yellow Jacket students, faculty, staff and alumni for a one-of-a-kind service opportunity. Project sites around the community of Institute, and in Kanawha and Putnam counties, will be identified as we move forward. The projects may include outdoor clean-up, working with youth, literacy education, serving meals, office work, and a variety of other worthwhile endeavors.

You can be an integral part of the success of this event as you build relationships and help your fellow Yellow Jackets get connected to community service. Community service can be a rewarding undertaking for anybody, and WVSU Cares Day will include many fun, hands-on activities that motivate and involve you while offering a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie.
