Enhance the academic program through direct support of new or existing academic programs or by establishing an endowed chair or professorship.

Endowed Chair (min. $2 million)   

An endowed chair helps West Virginia State University attract a distinguished faculty member to enrich the intellectual climate and prestige of the University while creating outstanding research and scholarship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students.

Endowed Professorship (min. $1.5 million)

An endowed professorship supports a mid-career faculty member to make significant contributions through research, teaching, and service to his or her profession.

Enhance an existing program or help launch a new program.

Library Enhancements

Help provide the print and online resources needed to support WVSU’s diverse, growing academic and research programs. A new area within the Library will integrates traditional library references with Internet resources to create an environment that supports collaborative student learning. Naming opportunities are available for designated areas and collections.
