Residence Hall Closing & Winter Break Information - Fall 2014


***24-hour quiet hours begin Friday, December 5 at 10 p.m.***
Please be courteous to your peers especially when you are packing and moving during checkout. Failure to comply may result in immediate dismissal from the halls and a residence hall fine.

 
 
Residence Halls Close: Saturday, December 13 at noon
All residents
are expected to depart for the winter break 24 hours after their last exam or by Saturday, December 13 at noon, whichever comes first. If you are participating in commencement as a graduate you will have until Sunday at 10:00 AM to vacate the residence halls.  Please refer to the additional links concerning closing details for all students living in the residence halls.

NOTICE OF ENTRY: From December 13 - January 15 Residence Life & Services and Facilities staff will be knocking on doors then entering rooms starting at 8 a.m. to clean (perform turnover) and/or complete repairs as needed. Because this transition occurs during a limited break/holiday period, we will not be able to postpone entry. Staff will have appropriate ID. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and support as we seek to prepare our residence halls for our returning residents and for new residents arriving for the spring semester.
